Between These Two Hearts

June 3, 2016

Celebrating the hearts of Jesus and Mary. There has never been a conflict between these two - and there never will be. The primary reason we resist letting ourselves be swept up into their embrace has to do with our sinfulness. St. Peter begged Jesus to leave him after Jesus worked a miracle - because Peter was uncomfortable being so close to the Holiness of Jesus. Add to that Mary's heart and you have one profoundly holy place. We pull back, yet they both keep calling us to come closer. And the longer we stay between these two hearts, the more our ugly gets burned away, and the more our hearts shine with a beauty like theirs. Stay with me and a rapidly growing number of people who are beginning to see the vital importance of staying between these two hearts.
