This may sound crazy or humorous but, I’m certain it will help at least one person out there.
Before reading the Bible, I reach for my glasses.
My glasses are not God. I do not worship my glasses, but I am thankful to have them because they help me see.
Once I put them on and am reading the word of God, I forget about my glasses.
I can see the Bible without glasses, but with them, I see the word of God more clearly.
For years I saw and loved Jesus without any help from Mary.
Mary is not God. I do not worship Mary, but now I am thankful for her
because she helps me see Jesus more clearly.
According to the Bible, Mary’s soul magnifies the Lord / proclaims the greatness of the Lord. (Luke 1:46)
I hope you still want to come with us to Bethlehem even though from time to time
along the way, we will be looking at Jesus through the magnifying soul of his mother.
In the next 5 minutes ask yourself:
Have I ever considered allowing the mother of Jesus to magnify the Lord for me?Jesus, your word is not dead ink on a page; it is alive and powerful.
Please, if it is possible, let your mother proclaim your greatness for me today.
